Claim guide

You won. Here's how to claim it.

Claims are submitted online on the official IRD portal. It takes about five minutes if you have the details below ready.

Don't miss the deadline. Each draw has a claim window of about 15 days after results are published. Your result on this site shows the exact date. After it closes the portal will reject the claim.

What you need

  • Your winning coupon number

The 12-digit prize coupon, and the fiscal year it belongs to (e.g. 2083/84).

  • A clear photo of the bill

JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB. For digital payments, keep the transaction record from your app too.

  • Seller PAN and bill amount

The seller's 9-digit PAN printed on the bill, and the exact amount — it must match the winning transaction.

  • Your details

Full name, address and mobile number.

  • Your bank account

Bank name, branch and account number for the prize payment.

Step by step

  1. 1

Confirm your win on the official portal

Open prize.ird.gov.np, go to Winners → Winner List and find your coupon number in the draw.

  2. 2

    Open the claim form

Use the Claim button next to your winning coupon. The fiscal year and coupon number are filled in for you.

  3. 3

    Enter the bill details

Type the seller's PAN and the bill amount exactly as printed on the bill.

  4. 4

Add your details and bank account

Fill in your name, address, phone, and bank details. Double-check the account number.

  5. 5

Upload the bill photo and submit

Attach a sharp, readable photo of the original bill, complete the security check and press Submit claim. Keep a screenshot of the confirmation.

How much you'll receive

Daily prizeRs 1,33,334−Rs 33,334Rs 1,00,000
Bumper prizeRs 10,00,000−Rs 2,50,000Rs 7,50,000

Common reasons claims fail

  • “No matching prize coupon was found”

The seller PAN or fiscal year doesn't match the coupon. Copy the PAN from the bill digit by digit.

  • “The amount does not match the winning transaction”

Enter the bill's total exactly, including paisa if shown.

  • “The claim period has ended”

The window for that draw is closed. Contact your nearest Inland Revenue Office.

  • Unreadable bill photo

Retake it in good light, flat, with the whole bill visible.

Beware of scams. The IRD never asks for a fee to release a prize. Only submit claims on prize.ird.gov.np. Submitting a forged or duplicate bill can cancel the prize and lead to legal action. This site is an independent checker and never asks for your bank details.
